Fridays Exit.. :)





Something was nearly magical about this day.. The drive from the brides house to the church it rained...no, correction, it POURED.. I helped shuffle the bridesmaids into the church one at atime with the Limo driver.

Then right as it was the Brides turn to come out. We prepared to run her in with multiple umbrellas.. literally at that very moment. The rain stopped!

I fully realize I'm not saying much in recent posts... :)

So here goes, In recent weeks I have had my internet connection go up and down more then a Duncan butterfly.. Its fun I tell ya.. especially when I typically recieved 20 or 30 emails a day. I finally rebuilt my entire network with a new router, Desktop with updated harddrives and rebuilt the laptop (that handles the email) To date its been stable for 3 days *fingers crossed* :) So yayyyy!

I had the wedding of coincedences last week.. I walked into the hotel with the bride and the MOH says "I swear I know you" "I think you did my wedding".. And my response was "Nahh,, I remember all of my brides" A few questions later we come to the conclusion that we will figure it out eventually. So off to the church I go... Walk into the back room to find the Groom and BM.. The best man yells out "Hey its Josh! You did my wedding" Sure enough I did the Maid of Honor and Best Mans wedding a good 4 years ago. Now, Why didnt I remember her? I did their wedding when I was a studio photographer. In short I never met the clients until the day of and would only spend say 10 hours with them. I did however remember her father who was also at this wedding! :)

Now at Fridays wedding.. Here I have my current B&G.. The BM and MOH are old "clients".. after the first toast another couple comes running up to me, "HEY! Josh!" Its one of my couples for February 07!.

The point of this story.. This was one of the reasons I decided to no longer be a studio photographer.. I know my clients.. I know their voices.. They email/call me to say they are expecting a baby.. :)

The good news is the images are coming out are fantastic!

And that long rambling post should make up for lost weeks!!
