Don’t even complain about not blogging this past weekends weddings.. They are coming! and they were amazing! I was just telling someone on the phone how all my clients this month are truly taking things to a new level with awesome events. (either that or I am just getting along with people better? hehe)
But in reality, Who cares!
Take a look at this engagement session from Sandy hook I did tonight.
Love, loveee this
All right out of the camera.. (well the middle one has a slight burn going on)
Here’s where it gets kinda crazy, Russo’s has this “elevator” where the bride and groom are introduced by coming up through the floor!
Complete with live entertainment!
But wait! There is more.. So I had the pleasure of working with my old friend Dave of Moving Pictures LLC. They did a same day edit where this video was shown towards the end of the evening. LOVE the shot of me jumping out of the way.. Click play.. its amazing.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Catherine of For your event planning, who is responsible for planning this wedding! And did an amazing job I might add..
Last year we had the popular date 7/7/7.. and this year it was 8/8/8.. Seeing as how September 9th falls on a Wednesday next year I don’t see it being so popular. ;) OK, I am going to hush up now and post some images!
This is the cool part.. The Rio Vista clubhouse is apparently an old church. Add some nice lighting and its an amazing location!
I mean seriously cool..
One of those awesome perks of being a wedding photographer.. Cake
Now, Wilkes Barre is a bit of a drive for me so I headed out early one Saturday morning allowing plenty of time for traffic etc.. I arrived 2 hours EARLY, Penny didn’t mind my company.
During ceremony I was a bit sneaky and went around the side.. Amy caught me
Neat little detail.. The reception was at the Westmoreland Club where the brides parents had their reception years before
I just got a text from someone who is coming home from her Honeymoon.. “we want to be blogged!”
So here ya go!
For a dog that everyone said “he’s a mean dog, don’t go near him” he certainly loved posing!!
If you look close, you can see me in his glasses
Regular readers may notice I really DON’T post photos of kids. Its a personal choice as I never know if a parent may object to his or her childs photo posted online. I am a father of 3 girls (who are seen here on occasion) I think I can let this one slide.. She went down the isle throwing just ONE petal every 5 feet..
